Mrs. Herring was the daughter of Mr. J. Carrington. She made a profession of religion in 1866 and joined the Baptist Church at Brick Providence, and was baptised by the writer, who was her pastor up to the time of her death. She died in faith in a precious Redeemer and in hope of a crown of glory beyond the river of death, leaving many friends to mourn her loss, but pecious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints.
