He was a son of Willis Dabney Herring and Lucy Emma Giboney, a grandson of George Washington Herring Sr. and Lucy Simco, and, Peter M. Giboney and Nancy Herring. He was my 1st cousin twice removed. Ralph and his brother Frank share this headstone
