Champ C. Craighead & Rosa P. Backer

Champ Clark Craighead, Feb. 26, 1900 - Jan. 10, 1982. Rosa Pearl, Mar. 4, 1901 - Apr. 2, 1981. Champ Clark Craighead was a son of Patrick N. Craghead and Julia Amanda Mattox. He was a grandson of Mark Anthony Craghead and Caroline C. Payne, and, Charles Mattox and Nancy Ashworth. He was my 4th cousin twice removed. He married Rosa Pearl Backer. She was a daughter of Frederick William Backer and Lucy Ann Bradley.
