	Charles P. Herring Charles P., son of George W. & H.A. Herring, born Dec. 9, 1863 died Jan. 12, 1888. Charles P. Herring was a son of George Washington Herring and Hester Ann Kemp, grandson of John Herring and Lucy Carver, and, Walter Kemp and Jerusha Key. He was my great granduncle.			Charles P. 	Eliza S. Herring Smart Possibly Eliza S. Herring Smart. She is buried here but we did not find a headstone. Eliza S. Herring was a daughter of John Herring and Lucy Carver, granddaughter of George Herring and Elizabeth Closby, and, Jarrell Carver and Nancy Beck. She was born abt. 1828 and died between 1864 and 1869. On Feb. 18, 1864 she married Ennis C. Smart. She was my 2nd great grandaunt.			Eliza S. Herring (d. Between 1864 and 1869)
	George W. Herring G.W.H. footstone for George Washington Herring. His headstone was not found. He was born July 10, 1823 in Albemarle Co., Virginia and died Sept. 20, 1878 in Callaway Co., Missouri. He was a son of John Herring and Lucy Carver, a grandson of George Herring and Elizabeth Closby, and, Jarrell Carver and Nancy Beck. On March 9, 1843 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Hester Ann Kemp. He was my great great grandfather.			George W. Herring (d. 20 Sep 1878)
	Gideon F. Herring Both on same headstone one above the other, Mary F., Born Aug 15 1848, died Aug 28, 1852. Gideon F., Born Dec. 19, 1852, died July 10, 1854. Brother and sister. Gideon F. Herring was a son of George Washington Herring and Hester Ann Kemp, grandson of John Herring and Lucy Carver, and, Walter Kemp and Jerusha Key. He was my great grandUncle.			Gideon F. 	Hester Ann Kemp Hester A. Wife of G. W. Herring, Died Aug 27, 1899, aged 75 ys. 5 ms 29 ds. Hester Ann Kemp, born Feb. 28, 1824 in Franklin Co., Virginia, died Aug. 27, 1899 in Callaway Co., Missouri. She was a daughter of Walter Kemp and Jerusha Key, a granddaughter of Thomas Cauper Kemp and Esther Maxey, and, George Key and Susannah Craghead. On March 9, 1843 in Callaway Co., Missouri, she married George Washington Herring. She was my great great grandmother.			Hester Ann Kemp (d. 27 Aug 1899)

	John Herring and Lucy Carver John Herring, born 1798 in Albemarle County Virginia, died September 14, 1864 in Callaway County Mo. Everyone buried in this, John Herring's family cemetery is either his child or grandchild or spouse of either. On Dec. 3, 1818 in Albemarle Co., Virginia he married Lucy Carver. Lucy Carver Herring is also buried here, but we could find no trace of her stone. She was born Apr. 16, 1796 in Albemarle Co., Virginia and died Mar. 20, 1873 in Callaway Co., Missouri. She was a daughter of Jarrell Carver and Nancy Beck. John and Lucy Carver Herring were my great great great grandparents.			Lucy Carver (d. 30 Mar 1873) John Herring (d. 14 Sep 1864)
	Mary E. Herring Piece of headstone with name Mary E. showing. This was probably Mary E. Herring, daughter of James Clark Herring and Sarah Jane Knight. Born 1851, died Aug. 31, 1864. She was a granddaughter of John Herring and Lucy Carver, and, William L. Knight and Eliza Hornbuckle. She was my 1st cousin 3 times removed.			Mary Elizabeth Herring (d. 31 Aug 1864)
	Mary F. Herring Both on same headstone one above the other, Mary F., Born Aug 15 1848, died Aug 28, 1852. Gideon F., Born Dec. 19, 1852, died July 10, 1854. Children of G.H. and H.A. Herring. Brother and sister. Mary F. Herring was a daughter of George Washington Herring and Hester Ann Kemp, granddaughter of John Herring and Lucy Carver, and, Walter Kemp and Jerusha Key. 	Sally A. Herring Sallie A. dau. of G.W. & Hester A. Herring, Born Sept. 20, 1866, Died Mar 25, 1888 Sally A. Herring, daughter of George Washington Herring and Hester Ann Kemp, granddaughter of John Herring and Lucy Carver, and, Walter Kemp and Jerusha Key. She was my great grandaunt. 	William H. Herring William H. Son of J.P. & A.J. Herring, died Apr. 6, 1851, 9 months. William H. Herring, son of John P. Herring and Amanda Jane Knight. He was a grandson of John Herring and Lucy Carver, and, William L. Knight and Eliza Hornbuckle. He was my 1st cousin 3 times removed. This headstone was sunken into the ground, we dug out around it in May 2007 and most of the headstone was then readable.			William H. Herring (d. 6 Apr 1851)

	William Henry Herring William H., Son of G.G. & L.J. Herring, Died Feb. 11, 1877 Aged 15 yrs ? This was William Henry Herring, son of Gideon Carver Herring and Lucy Jane Simco. Born 1862 died of typhoid. Grandson of John Herring and Lucy Carver, and, Reuben Brooks Simco and Sarah Cowherd Hill. He was my 1st cousin 3 times removed.			William Henry Herring (d. 11 Feb 1877)
