Notes	He married Margaret Howard on January 10, 1831 in Shelby County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Chester Howard. Sometime between 1835 and 1836 he removed to Callaway County, Missouri. There he received two land patents on November 9, 1835. He was a farmer. Cageby was one of the early members of Dry Fork Church and is buried in the church cemetery. Margaret Howard died sometime between 1844 and 1850, as she is not in the 1850 census. Widowed with only one son, Cageby's daughters are often found living in the households of his siblings. Cageby died on January 29, 1869. Cageby and Margaret had at least 6 children. Permilla Ann, Caroline M., James Thomas, Georgia A., Nancy Jane, and Mary Elizabeth.
