    • Jack Day, Kansas City, MO, died Wednesday, June 21, 2000, at Truman Medical Center (East). Cremation. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at Ridgeview Christian Church, 8640 Sni-A-Bar Rd., where visitation will be 1011 a.m. The family requests no flowers.
      Mr. Day was born in Kansas City, MO, and attended Central High and Central Missouri State. He retired from the Postal Service in 1986. He enlisted in the Air Force from 1949 to 1962, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was Past AllState Commander of Three Trails VFW Post 6840; life member of the VFW National Home and the American Legion Tirey J. Ford Post 21; and member of the Military Order of the Cootie & Past Seam Squirrel, Heart of America, Pup Tent One. He was also a member of the Jackson County Council Ritual Team (VFW), the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, and Ridgeview Christian Church, where he was a past elder
