    Lewis T. Craghead, 1911 - 1979. Julia P. Craghead, 1912 - 1962. Lewis Turner Craghead was a son of James Lewis Craghead and Laura Belle Herring. He was a grandson of Robert Powell Craghead and Nancy C. Hall, and, Thomas Wesley Herring and Mary Jane Young. He was my 2nd cousin twice removed. He married Julia P. Schmid.     Article in the Fulton Gazette, April 9, 1925, naming families attending close of term at school, two students graduated; Edith Mirts and Turner Craighead. He was my 2nd cousin twice removed. Herring School was on property originally owned by my 2nd great grandparents, George W. and Lucy Simco Herring.
