- Baynham Died at his residence near Granby, Newton County, Mo., of hemorrhage of the bowels, on the 23d of October after an illness of twelve days, William C. Baynham, in the 67th year of his age. -- The subject of this memoir was born in Halifax County, Virginia. He moved to Missouri in 1831 and was married to Tabitha Irvin, --. In the year 1838 he was again married to Ann Grant, of this county, who lived - until the year 1865 --. Three years from the day he died, he buried his oldest child, Gabriella --. After her death the world seemed void of beauty and he visited his only surviving brother and sister and many other relatives, in this county to say goodbye --.
