  A suit filed in September 1812 in Halifax County, VA names his heirs (Robert Holt) as Robert Holt, Nancy Watkins, William Holt, James Holt, Phoebe Warren, Rebecca Foard, Elizabeth Brooks, Sarah Dillard, and Timotny Holt. The suit was filed by the heirs of John Brooks, deceased husband of Elizabeth. It is probable that Fannie Brooks was a daughter of this John Brooks and Elizabeth Holt. It is speculation at this point, but i have connected them here because the probability is very strong. I do not have absolute evidence that this Fannie Brooks is their daughter.
