Notes	Old Crain Graveyard located on Highway 111, between Popular Plains and Hillsboro. Most of the headstones have been destroyed. This graveyard was canvassed by William M. Talley in 1950. This graveyard, which has been destroyed since it was copied in early 1950, was located on the farm of Cornelius Turner, about one and a half miles from Poplar Plains on the Hillsboro Road. The farm was owned by Jimmy Day at one time. Part of these stones were copied by Mrs. Leo Royse in the late 1940s and the others were copied by William M. Talley in November 1950, the day before the blizzard came. William RAWLINGS, died August, 1826 aged ?9 years. Barbara A.RAWLINGS, wife of William, died August 1826 age 59 years 3 months. Nancy (Nee RAWLINGS), consort of Robert EVANS, died November 2, 1842 age 20 years and 10 months. Mary Jane daughter of Robert and Nancy EVANS born February 23, 1839, died age 9 months 21 days Sarah A. RAWLINGS, died March 31, 1840 age 62 years 4 months. Mary J. RAWLINGS died May 13, 1840 age 26 years 10 months, 14 days. Presley RAWLINGS, died April 1, 1848 aged 54 years, 20 days. Marsellus RAWLINGS, son of J. A. and S.
