They are living with her mother in 1920. Graphic is very poor, I can't read their occupations, but it looks like they both have jobs.

In 1930, they still live with her mother. He is a clothing merchant. The house is a boarding house.

He died in the Ellis Fischel hospital in Columbia after being a patient there for 7 days. He lived at 814 Bluff Street, Fulton, Missouri. His last occupation was a clothing salesman. His wife was still living at the time of his death.

His parents were George Gilman and Maggie Bowland, according to his death certificate.
