In the Name of God Amen. I Zacharias Gibbs of Culpeper county do make this my last will and testament __ Imprimus I Recommend my Soul to Almighty God hopeing for pardina nd forGiveness of all my Sins through the merits and medation of our Blessed Savior __ Item: I lend to my eloved Wife Mary Gibbs my Whole Estate Both Real and personal dureing her Natural life or Widowhood and after her Death or marriage to be Divided in the Following Manner __ Item: I give and Bequeath to my Son John Gibbs his heirs and assigns forever Third part of the Tract of Land whereon I now live __ Item: I give and Bequeath to my Son Francis Gibbs his heirs and assigns forever one Third part of the Tract of Land whereon I now live __ Item: I give and Bequeath to my Son Zacharias Gibbs his heirs and assigns forever one Third part of the Tract of Land whereon I now live including the Mannor House and plantation but if it Shoul please God that my Son should die before his Mother Leaving Issue, then his part of the said Land to be Equally Divided Between my two Sons John Gibbs and Francis Gibbs __ Item: my will and Desire is that my land in Orange County shall be sold and Conveyed by my Executor or Executors hereafter Named the Survivor or Survivors of them Such as Shall __ chuse to qualify for the best prise that Can be had for Ready money or on Credit if She or they shall think proper and the Money arising by Such Sale to be Equally between my five Daughters __ Item: I give and Bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Gibbs one Negroe Girl Name Sebba to She and her aires __ lawfully Begotten of her body and one Feather Bed and furniture to make her Equal with her married Sisters. Item: I give and Bequeath to my Son Zacharias Gibbs one Feather Bed and Furniture to make him Equal with his married Brothers. Item: My Will and Desire is that all the Rest of my Estate both Rale and personal Shall be Equally divided amongst all my Children of their legal __ Representatives __ I nominate and appoint my loving Wife Mary Gibbs Executrix and my three Sons John Gibbs, Francis Gibbs, and Zacharias Gibbs Ececutos of this my last Will and Testament and I do Order that my Estate Shall not be appraised and that my Executors Shall not give Security. In Witness whereof I have herunto Set my hand and affixed my Seal this Fifth day of August one Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Three.
