On the headstone it states she died 1876 but her son, Reuben W Major, traveled 4 days round trip in Nov 1873 to bring her body back by boat and train to Windsor to be buried by her husband. There are notes regarding the purchase of the casket and the funeral and medical expenses due to her death.
