    • Lela (Frog) Boldwin, 83, of New Bloomfield, died Friday, November 27, 2009, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City.

      She was born August 27, 1926 in Tebbetts, the daughter of the late Evert Otto and Rosie Geretrude (Summers) Branch. On August 30, 1950, she married David Boldwin in Fulton. He preceded her in death on October 11, 2001.

      Lela worked for the Samuel Shoe Company, McGraw-Edison and for St. Mary's Health Center.

      She is also survived by one son, Gary D. Boldwin and wife Alma of Rich Fountain; two daughters, Frances Vaughn and husband Richard, and Brenda Blakey-Smith, both of Fulton; seven grandchildren, Chris and Charles Vaughn, Jody Neal, Aaron Martin, David Blakey, Chauncey and Eric Boldwin; nine great- grandchildren; one brother, Everrett Branch, and one sister, Dorothy Spencer, both of New Bloomfield. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jared Blakey; three brothers; two sisters; and one son-in-law.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will be in the Bull Cemetery . Family will receive friends on Monday from 4-6 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Callaway County Senior Center
