- "Pneumonia caused death , Hamilton Wilson contracted disease while waiting on Family of Cousin.
Hamilton Wilson, 45, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Wilson, of west of New Bloomfield, died of pneumonia Tuesday afternoon, December 10, at the home of his cousin, Ova P. Wilson. Deceased was a brother of Mrs. Arthur T. Bullard, east of Ashland.
His death was the third that has occured at the O.P. Wilson home in 10 days, says the Fulton Gazette. The first was Lucy Lee, eight year old daughter of Mr. Wilson, and the second was Mrs. Wilson. Mr. Wilson went to the O.P. Wilson home when the members of the family became ill for the purpose of assisting in caring for them. He became ill himself a few days later and was never able to make headway against the disease. Affable and kind, Hamilton Wilson had a wide circle of friends. He united with the Dry Fork Church in his youth. The funeral and burial took place at Hopewell. Rev. C.A. Mitchell conducted services.
