Davenport Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Browning Funeral Home for Harvey Davenport, 95, who died last night at Heritage Nursing Home in Columbia. Born Dec. 31, 1872 in Mahaska County, Iowa, to Henry Wilson and Rachel Hughes Davenport, he was the last member of a large family. Married to Etha Durell, Aug. 29, 1897, they moved from Iowas to Missouri in 1917. She died in 1959. Survivors include two daughters, Rachel Mary (Mrs. L.Roy Herring), Fulton, and Lillian Estella (Mrs. Harry Johnston), Loma Linda, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Three children preceded him in death. The Rev. E.J. Miller will officiate and burial will be in United Brethren Cemetery.
