Oliver Thomas McClellan was probably a son of William McClellan and Margaret Dawson. He married Elizabeth Cottam. Oliver and Elizabeth were both born in Preston, England…

    • parents are speculation based on name of father, place of birth, and the small amount of McClellan's living in Callaway county. Information about Oliver and his family is correct, but relationship to this William McClellan is speculation. It is possible that he was a very much younger brother to this William McClellan.

      John s. McClellan of Fulton, Mo. gave the information for his death certificate.

      Note:
      His death certificate said he was buried in White Cloud cemetery, Callaway Co., Missouri. He is buried in Central Christian cemetery, Callaway Co., Missouri. See photo of headstone. I have photographed both cemeteries and he is definately in Central Christian and not White Cloud.
