      They lived at the School for the Deaf in Fulton. Wife's age s/b 48

      They moved to Fulton in 1896 when he became the Superintendent of the Missouri School for the Deaf.

      Death certificate said he was found dead in bed of heart failure, tobacco heart. I have looked up tobacco heart, and it meant he was a heavy smoker.

      Information on his death certificate was given by his wife. His parents were David D. McKee of Kentucky and Jane Butler. Burial says only Fulton, Mo., I found his headstone in Hillcrest.

      His son David married my 1st cousin, Maurine M. Carter.
