    • Anna Belle Batye, 90, of Columbia died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at Ashland Healthcare.
      Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Nilson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico, Mo.
      Anna Belle Batye was born April 17, 1915, in Center, the daughter of Elza Pulis and Cora Simcoe Pulis. She married William A. Palmer Sept. 18, 1934, in Mexico, and he preceded her in death in August 1969. She later married James Batye June 30, 1971, and he preceded her in death.
      Survivors include a son, Dana G. Palmer of Columbia; a sister, Ruth Simpson of Columbia; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
