    • Mrs. W.M. Stultz Dies Late Thursday
      Her Death Follows Death of Husband by About Two Weeks
      Mrs. W.M. Stultz, 68, a resident of Callaway County for most of her life, died Thursday night at the Callaway Hospital after an illness of six months. Her husband died Sept. 20, just a little less than two weeks ago.
      Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were her nephews, Ray Martin, Roy Martin, Paul Martin, Paul Blades, Charles Guerrant and Earl Maddox.
      She was born in Howardsville, Virginia on May 22, 1882 and came to Missouri with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Martin, when she was about nine years old. The family lived on a farm about five miles northeast of Fulton.
      The former Miss Lucie Alberta Martin, she was married to William M. Stults in 1911 and the couple lived on a farm eight miles northeast of Fulton all their married lives.
      During her lifetime she was noted for her willingness to help her relatives, neighbors and friends in time of need and was known affectionately as "Aunt Lucie".
      She is survived by Mrs. Delphus Rippeto, whom she and Mr. Stults reared from the time she was nine years old, one sister, Mrs., Alice Wisely of Waynesboro, Va.; four brothers, Charles of Rison, Ark., Robert and John of Santa Maria, Calif., and Jesse A. of Schillings, Calif.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
