    • Death Of A Little Child
Sterling Kemper Gilpin, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Sterling P. Gilpin, died at the home of his parents in this city, Sunday afternoon, July 23, 1905 at 3:00 o'clock, of cholera infantum.
He was born on January 15, 1905, and was but little over six months of age when he died. He had been sick for about one week and showed remarkable vitality for one so young. The death of one so pure and innocent is remarkably sad at any time and the sorrowing parents and brother and sister have the sympathy of the entire community.
The funeral service was conducted at Mt. Carmel Methodist church south of Fulton, Monday morning at 11:00 o'clock, by Dr. J.L. Ayres, after which the body was laid to rest in the churchyard.
