    • Evelyn V. Haley, 81, of Fulton died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at Boone Hospital Center.
      Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with the Rev. John Suttenfield officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
      Mrs. Haley was born June 23, 1917, in Fulton to George and Ada Perry Carrington. She married Henry Bartley "Jack" Haley on Dec. 31, 1936, and he preceded her in death.
      Survivors include a son, Charles Haley of Raytown; three daughters, Peggy Brose of Jefferson City, Mary Haley Hall of Rocheport and Barbara McGrath of Fulton; two brothers, Jerry Carrington of Columbia and Joe Carrington of Fulton; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
      She was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.

    • Evelyn V. Haley, 81, of Fulton died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
      Saturday, at the funeral home.
      She was born June 23, 1917, in Fulton to the late George and Ada Perry Carrington. She married Henry Bartley "Jack" Haley on Dec. 31, 1936. He preceded her in death Feb. 17, 1983.
      Survivors include one son, Charles Haley of Raytown; three daughters, Peggy Brose of Jefferson City, Mary Hall of Rocheport and Barbara McGrath of Fulton; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers; Joe Carrington of Fulton, and Jerry Carrington of Columbia and numerous nieces and nephews.
      She was preceded in death by a daughter and one brother.
      She was a member of the First Christian Church in Fulton.
      Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. The Rev. John Suttenfield will officiate. Visitation is from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorials are suggessted to the charity of the donor's choice.

      Fulton Couple Weds
      H.B. (Jack) Haley and Miss Evelyn Carrington, both of Fulton, were married in Fulton by the Rev. Dr. W.G. Alcorn, at his home, last week. Miss Lillian Gilmore of Fulton witnessed the ceremony. Mrs. Haley is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Elmer Carrington of Fulton. She is a graduate of the Fulton high school and also attended William Woods College. Mr. Haley is a former student of Westminster College and is now employed in Fulton.
