    • Elsie Jewell Harrison, 95, formerly of New Bloomfield, died Dec. 15, 2001, at Lenoir Health Care Center, Columbia.
      She was born March 2, 1906, a daughter of Grover C. and Maggie May Lee Cole. She was married in 1923, in Bluffington, to Roy M. Tate. She was married Nov. 2, 1939, in Montgomery City, to Marvin L. Harrison, who died March 11, 1989.
      She was a receptionist for several doctors. She was a member of the Dry Fork Baptist Church.
      Survivors include: one son, Marvin L. Tate, Kansas City; one daughter, Delores T. Harrison, New Bloomfield; three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
      One great-grandchild preceded her in death.
      Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Webster Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday.
      Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
