    • Mrs. R.A. Brown Dead
      Mrs. Stella Brown, 28 years old, wife of R.A. Brown, a young business man of Auxvasse, died of lung trouble at Auxvasse last Friday. Funeral services were held at the Auxvasse Presbyterian church Saturday morning and burial was in Westminster church cemetery, near Hatton.
      Mrs. Brown's maiden name was Goodspeed. She was born in Illinois on January 28, 1885, and at sixteen years old united with the Methodist church at Bedford, Ia. She was married to Mr. Brown on August 19, 1909, and with her husband lived in Auxvasse the greater part of the time after her wedding. She was a member of the Auxvasse Presbyterian church. Her parents and two brothers, all non-residents of this county, survive. Mrs. Brown was an excellent young woman and was held in high esteem by the people of Auxvasse, all of whom sympathize with her husband in his bereavement.
