Edward Carter Miss Mayme N. Downs 26 Sept 1894 G72
Bad transcription of the old record, her last name was Dorris.

He died at 603 1/2 Court Street, Fulton, he had been there for 5 days. I don't know if there was a small hospital or sanitarium there or what. His usual address was 900 Court Street, Fulton, Missouri. His birthplace was listed as "west of Fulton". He was a retired grocer at the time of his death. His son, John Ed. Carter of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, gave the information for his death certificate.

In going through old newspapers, I have seen numerous ads for his store, T.Ed Carter is the way he advertised himself.
