| Beavers, Our Mother, Mary Beavers, Died Nov. 4, 1876, Aged about 79 years. Large Carter headstone with names engraved on three sides. Mary Polly Smith was born about 1800 in Virginia. On Sept. 30, 1819 in Green Co., Kentucky, she married my 3rd great grandfather, Robert P. Carter. After his death in 1831, she married Barnett Beavers on Feb. 7, 1833 in Green Co., Kentucky. Between 1840 and 1850, she came with her children to Missouri and lived in both Audrain and Callaway counties. Mary Smith Carter Beavers was my 3rd great grandmother. | |

| Johnson, Wm. O. Johnson, Died Sept. 23, 1896, Aged 69y 3m 3d. Mary Ann, wife of W.O. Johnson, died Feb. 8, 1865, aged 40y 3m 28d. Martha, wife of W.O. Johnson, died Jan. 10, 1880, aged 37y 8m. William Otis Johnson gave the land for this church and cemetery. He was born June 20, 1827 in Virginia. On Nov. 9, 1848 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married my 2nd great grandaunt, Mary Ann Carter. She was born in Kentucky, a daughter of Robert P. Carter and Mary Polly Smith. They had 6 children. After her death, he married Martha Dowell on Oct. 2, 1866. They had 9 children. | |
