| Truman Day, 1818 - 1905. Truman Day was born December 1818 in Fleming Kentucky. He was a son of Ackley Day and Sarah Oxley. On March 24, 1842 he married Eliza Clendennen. Truman Day founded the town of Portland, Callaway, Missouri. He was my great great great grandfather. | |

| Sanders Day, 1846 - 1933. This was Sanders Perfect Day, born January 20, 1846, died March 17, 1933. He was a son of Truman Day and Eliza Clendennen, a grandson of Ackley Day and Sarah Oxley. On Oct. 30, 1873 he married Permelia Frances Overton, daughter of Benjamin Francis Overton and Ann S. Holt. We have never been able to find where Permelia was buried. On June 18, 1890 he married Margaret E. Crooks. Sanders P. Day was my great great grandfather. | |
