He was a grandson of George Washington Herring Jr. and Josima McNerva Allen, and Henry Cave III and Mary E. Groves. On Apr. 8, 1956 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Mercedes Rowe. She was a daughter of William Rowe and Maude Stauffen. Arleigh was my 1st cousin once removed. | |

He was a grandson of James Simco and Francis Canada, and, Tartan Smith and Lucy Mallory. On Sept. 8, 1891 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Emma J. Herring She was a daughter of James Clark Herring and Sarah Jane Knight, a granddaughter of John Herring and Lucy Carver, and, William L. Knight and Eliza Hornbuckle. James was my 1st cousin 3 times removed, Emma was also my 1st cousin 3 times removed. | |

Susan Judt was born in 1863. Her sister, Minnie Judt, was born in 1867. They never married and lived together all their lives. Minnie and Susan Judt were my 2nd cousins twice removed. | |
