| Boyd, J.K. Father - Mother, Aug 12, 1830 - Nov 5, 1912. Elizabeth his wife, Apr 5, 1839 - blank 19. John King Boyd Sr. was a son of Joseph Boyd and Ann King, grandson of Thomas Boyd Sr. and Grizella Allen. John K. Boyd Sr. was my 2nd cousin 3 times removed. On Nov 13, 1856 he married Elizabeth C. Martin. Elizabeth Martin Boyd died May 22, 1921. Cemetery records and death certificate do show she is buried in Carrington, perhaps they never finished engraving the stone after her death. She was a daughter of Noah Martin and Virginia Closby. | |

On Sept. 26, 1847 he married Madaline M. Turner. She was also born in Kentucky and was a daughter of Cary Turner and Eliza A. Rolling. His first wife was Nancy Newland who died before 1847. | |
