Hampton, Thomas M., 1898 - 1970, Ruth G., 1901 - 1988. Thomas Monroe Hampton was born Mar. 12, 1898 in Boone Co., Missouri, died Jan. 7, 1970. On May 7, 1919 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Ruth Gathright. She was born Apr. 30, 1901 died Aug. 14, 1988. She was a daughter of William Benjamin Gathright and Mary Francis Giboney, a granddaughter of John Thomas Gathright Sr. and Betty Jane Davis, and, Peter M. Giboney and Nancy Herring. She was my 2nd cousin twice removed.
