Sarah Gibbs Overton Headstone Photo, Hillcrest Cemetery

Sarah Overton, wife of Lewis Overton, born July 16, 1770 died Feb. 6, 1811. Sarah Gibbs was a daughter of Francis Gibbs and Nancy Head of Virginia. On January 9, 1794 in Madison, Virginia, she married Lewis Overton. She was originally buried on their land, just southwest of Fulton, Missouri and the graves were relocated when the new highway 54 was built. She was my 4th great grandmother.
