Alexander Gray Headstone Photo, Old Prospect Methodist Cemetery

Alex. A. Gray, born in Halifax Co. Va. May 18, 1803, emigrated to Mo. in 1823, died Nov. 25, 1887. Alexander Gray was a son of George Gray and Fannie Brooks. He was a grandson of Alexander Gray of Scotland and Elizabeth Fitzhugh, and, John Brooks and Elizabeth Holt. He was my 2nd cousin 5 times removed. He married Elizabeth Ann Brooks.
