Frances E. wife of John M. Simcoe. Nov. 3, 1825 - Aug. 23, 1875. Sweet is our Memory of Father and Mother. John M. Simcoe, June 29, 1820 - Nov. 30, 1903. John M. Simco was born in Albemarle Co., Virginia. He was a son of James Simco and Francis Canada, a grandson of John Simco and Fanny unknown, and, Wharton Canada and Mary Thompson. On Nov. 15, 1842 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married my 2nd great grandaunt, Mary F. Fletcher. On Oct. 15, 1852 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Frances Elizabeth Smith. And on Sept. 12, 1878 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Sythia Ann Sacre. John M. Simco was my 2nd great granduncle. Frances Elizabeth Smith was born in Orange Co., Virginia, a daughter of Tartan Smith and Lucy Mallory. She died in an accident with a horse.
