Epperson, Virgil W. - Jan. 27, 1851 - Jan. 1, 1934. Susan Craig his wife, May 15, 1855 - May 3, 1944. Emma Lee, their daughter, Dec. 8, 1881 - Aug 11, 1942. Virgil W. Epperson was born in Kentucky, a son of William H. Epperson and Mary E. Unknown. On Nov. 10, 1875 in Callaway County Missouri, he married Susan W. Craig. She was a daughter of James T. Craig and Martha Bell Carter, a granddaughter of Nat Craig and Ester L. unknown, and, Robert P. Carter and Mary Polly Smith. Susan Craig Epperson was my 1st cousin 3 times removed. Her mother was the sister of my great great grandfather, John G. Carter. Emma Lee Epperson was my 2nd cousin twice removed.
