Herring, George P. 1911 - 1993, LaVerne M. 1918 - 1997. George Powell Herring was born Aug 10, 1911, died Jan 9, 1993. He was a son of Seth "Jack" Herring and Myrtle Qualls, grandson of George Washington Herring Jr. and Josima Allen. George P. Herring was my first cousin once removed. On Jan 2, 1937 he married LaVerne Zimmerman. She was born May 14, 1918 and died Jan 13, 1997.
