Simco Father, James E. 1856 - 1931 Mother Emma J. 1858 - 1943. James Edward Simco was a son of John M. Simco and Frances Elizabeth Smith. He was a grandson of James Simco and Francis Canada, and, Tartan Smith and Lucy Mallory. On Sept. 8, 1891 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Emma J. Herring She was a daughter of James Clark Herring and Sarah Jane Knight, a granddaughter of John Herring and Lucy Carver, and, William L. Knight and Eliza Hornbuckle. James was my 1st cousin 3 times removed, Emma was also my 1st cousin 3 times removed.
