Herring, Sally Wood 1885 - 1917, J. Wesley 1874 - 1950, Clara May 1879 - 1966. John Wesley Herring was a son of Thomas Wesley Herring and Mary Jane Young. He was a grandson of John Herring and Lucy Carver, and, Joseph Young and Nancy Nichols. He was my 1st cousin 3 times removed. He married Sally Alta Wood on Jun 1, 1902 in Callaway Co., Missouri. She was born April 11, 1886 in Missouri and died March 3, 1916 in Callaway Co., Missouri, a daughter of Samuel Woods and Ellen Blackburn. They had two children. After her death, he married Mrs. Clara May Wood Dunavant on Jan 3, 1917 in Callaway Co., Missouri. She was born Dec. 25, 1879 and died Dec. 15, 1966. All three graves are marked with the same stone.
