Willie J. wife of J. Herring, died July 27, 1877 aged 23 years 7 mos. bottom line unreadable. Willie J. Gilpin was born in Virginia on Dec. 27, 1853, a daughter of Burl G. Gilpin and Nancy Mack. On May 29, 1873 in Callaway Co., Missouri, she married Jarrell Carver Herring.
