Carrington, Nancy. The words Nancy and Carrington are all that's readable on this stone. We believe this is Nancy Hyten Carrington, 2nd wfe of John Carrington. She was born Mar 7, 1824 in Kentucky and died Nov 14, 1895. She was a daughter of Stephen H. Hyten and Nancy McGary, a granddaughter of Josiah Hyten and Rebecca Caywood, and, Major Hugh McGary and Mary O'rafferty. Nancy's mother was the half sister of Katharine McGary Carrington. Nancy was my 3rd cousin 3 times removed.
