Gerard P. Davis, 1847 - 1922. Gerard Preston Davis was a son of Gerard W. Davis and Amelia Day. He was a grandson of Truman Day and Mary Saunders. He was born Jan. 2, 1847 in Callaway Co., Missouri and died Oct. 18, 1922 in Denton Co., Texas. He was my 1st cousin 5 times removed. On Sep. 20, 1871 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Mary Callie Holt.
